Muster By Hannah Fettig

A pattern that one can download on Ravelry, (sorry not a free one)

Lovely I have to say…only 7 skeins 1036.0 yards (947.3m) in colour SH129. So not to bad in price too. Yarn Sirdar Snuggly Baby Speckle yes I know we often use this yarn for baby blankets or baby cardigans…. well if you now me I like to step out of the normal everyday knits and have fun with the yarn.

So have a look this really is very nice and soft and for some of You that cannot wear ‘Wool” this yarn is perfect for the summer 60% Cotton and 40% Acrylic. Ah yes you like to know what needles I used…US 6 – 4.0 mm and US 5 – 3.75 mm

I also have added a lace border in the front ….simple and easy.

Picked up 84/41/84 stitches all around the front, back, . Row 1: Purl to end of row (back side) Row2 : Now k1, * YO, k2togth, * continue to end of row.(right side) Row 3: Purl to end of row (Back side) Row 4: * slip 1st, k1, pull slipped stitch over k stich,YO * continue this to end of row.(right side) repeat row 1 to 4 as many times as You like. I worked them a total of 5 times.

So with that said I had to try knitting this cardigan in a child size too. I used the same pattern just cast on a lot less stitches and also did not work as many increases for the arm. Therefor one has to change the body and arm length …love it

Schöne Ich muss sagen … nur 7 Stränge (947.3m) in Farbe SH129. So nicht schlecht im Preis. Ja ich weiß, diese Garn Sirdar Snuggly Baby Speckle verwenden wir häufig für Babydecken oder Baby Strickjacken ….

Nun, wenn Du mich kennst weisst Du das ich immer etwas aus dem normalen Täglichen heraus gehe und so auch Spaß habe mit den Garnen etwas neues zu stricken. So schau… das ist wirklich sehr schön geworden und weich und für einige von Euch, die Wolle nicht tragen können dieses Garn ist perfekt für den Sommer 60% Baumwolle und 40% Polyacryl… Nadeln 4,0 mm und 3,75 mm habe ich dazu benutzt.

Den Rand habe ich auch gewechselt wie ich oben das Muster angegben habe.

Hier noch eine kleine Überraschung musste doch die Jacke für ein 2 bis 3 jähriges Kind entwerfen…genau nach dem Muster gestricket nur wehniger Maschen angeschlagen und auch weniger aufnahmen für den Unterarm...

Fun Fringed Scarf

Not my first pattern I created but the first I am selling to You.

So many great yarns and I am a true believer that we all can have fun with all the different texture of yarns.

So after the “Creative Festival” I thought is was time to use the two yarns

Debbie Bliss Angel“ and Sirdar Firefly Metallic together in some fun way. So here I am with

“Fun Fringed Scarf”

simple and easy to knit.

You will need only one skein of Debbie Bliss Angel

and two skeins of Sirdar Firefly Metallic and needle size 4mm

How lucky can I be…

Nicht mein erstes Muster das ich entworfen habe doch das Erste das zum Kaufen ist.

So viele tolle Garne und ich bin da voll dabei, dass wir alle Spaß haben dürfen mit all den verschiedenen Texturen von Garnen.

is a lovely soft and light scarf. The pattern and yarn are from ”Americo Original” in Toronto. Though if you visit me at my work I can show you this superfine yarn too…yes even the pattern you will get with yarn purchase.

I believe the pattern is asking for a little bigger needle then what I used US 10½ – 6.5 mm. My Boss and I just liked this look a little better.

Americo Original Eco Alpaca Sport is a wonderful 100% Superfine Peruvian Alpaca made in Peru, in natural undyed two-tone marls. I used 4 skeins = 876.0 yards (801.0m for this generous size scarf.

Timothy Wrap

Ist ein schöner weicher und leichter Schal. Das Muster und Garn ist von “Americo Original” in Toronto. Obwohl,wenn Du mich besuchen kommst bei meiner Arbeit kann ich Dir diesen superfeinen Garn au zeigen.. ja sogar das Muster, das Du mit Garn Kauf erhalten wirst.

Ich glaube, das Muster fragt nach etwas größeren Strick- Nadel doch hier habe ich mit 6,5 mm Nadeln gestrickt. Meiner Chefine und mir paste das etwas besser.

Americo Original-Eco Alpaca Sport ist eine wunderbares 100% Superfine peruanischen Alpaka von Peru, in natürlichen ungefärbten zweifarbigen Mischung. Ich habe 4 Stränge = 801.0m für diese großzügige Größe Schal gebraucht.

Frist I have to apologise to all of You

For only writing in English for the past view blog entries.

I was on a mission and needed to get the blog entries up online before time moved on as it was in regards to the Shows we just had.

Next to all the knitting, working, sleeping and my own Families needs too.

So heir I am back with German entries too….

Zuerest muss ich mich bei Euch Allen Entschuldigen

Dass ich die letzten paar Blog Eintragungen nur in Englisch geschrieben hatte.

Meine Zeit was kurzt und ich wollte diese Eintragungen im Blog haben before zu viel Zeit verging.

Da es ja von der Messe war wo wir auch einen grossen Stand hatten.

Neben bei hatte ich ja auch immer noch das Stricken(ja für das Geschäft), arbeiten gehen, schlafen und natürlich auch noch meine liebe Familie die mich auch brauchte….

So hier bin ich also wieder auch auf Deutsch wir wieder geschrieben.

First our Boss “Madi” was knitting this amazing bag …and believe me she likes to knit and quilt!

Than to help came Julia

as this bag had to be finished for Knitter’s Frolic

just the past weekend. It was a project that was just calling for her.

The Quilt Store and The Yarn Store at the Creative Festival

Well…. I can tell You all, the doors have not even open and we “The Staff” of The Quilt Store and The Yarn Store in Newmarket are already having so much fun. This mornings drive to the International Centre was a blast….Irene made sure we all are awake that is for sure. The coffee helped too I have to say….Thanks for our great driver Adrienne we arrived in no time.

Ok I have to say THANKS! to Ana and Joe to have the super soft floor all laid out already.

I was wondering all night if those boxes made it onto the truck.

When You are at our booth #115 visiting tomorrow Friday or Saturday, You too will know why I was worried that these boxes possibly were left behind at storage.

Yes I know so many more quilts have been on our machines at the store….everyone played a part in it I am sure Madi even worked on one or two herself…so You just have to see for yourself.

Almost forgot You have to see I have a sample made up that is all crochet….really…let me know if you spot it.

Debbie will also show You how to knit the “Swallow Hill” Scarf a true jewel to have in you wardrobe.

That is not all….so many more yarns, patterns, samples are all hanging up too.

So I am talking all about the Creative Festival and the booth we have there….that is not all.

I am not using the yarn that the pattern ask for but something that is compatible to it.

Yes this is the projects I had You all guess what I am making….did you figure it out?

Stunning how it turned out I think…

Though I ran into some questions with the pattern

There is a whole row missing in this pattern that will set you off

Used Cascade Yarns called “Sunseeker”

a total of 8 skeins and about 1734 meters or 1896 yards

with crochet hook 3.75mm or a “F”

Du hast recht erraten das ist das was ich Ecuh schon einige Male gezeigt hatte.

Atemberaubende!!

Nicht war….mir gefällt es recht gut.

Obwohl in dem Muster einige Fehler vor kamen…ahhhh nein

Eine ganze Reihe wurde verpasst beim Muster schreiben. So etwas und ich habe schon so loange nicht mehr gehäckelt.

Ich brauchte für diesen Cardigan eine Baumwolle von Cascade Yarns genannte ”Sunseeker”

insgesamt 8 Stränge und um 1734 Meter

mit Häkelnadel 3,75 mm oder ein “F”

Einfach Toll muss ich sagen…Lachen darf ich nun da ich es vertigo gebracht habe ….

Have You figured out what I am making?

So any thoughts on what this will be?

I love the colour and this yarn called “Sunseeker” by Cascade Yarns. (47% Cotton, 48% acrylic, 5% Metallic Yarn)

It has a very light sparkle spun right into the skein. Once this will be finished it sure will give you the added glam and Uh..LaLa to the coming warmer days or nights.

So hast Du nun eine Ahnung was ich hier am herstellen bin?

Die Farben und das Garn ”Sunseeker” von Cascade Yarns gefaellt mir recht gut.

Das Garn hat einen leichten schimmeriegen Glanz eingewoben…und wird supper zu dem Muster passen..so richtig Oh..LaLa. für die kommenden Frühling oder Sommer Tage…
